Who can take part in the referral program?
Any past or current AML Home Loans client can refer a friend, family member, or colleague. There's no limit on how many people you refer.
Does my friend need to be new to AML?
Yes — the reward applies to friends who haven't already been in touch with AML Home Loans about their own loan. Once we've confirmed they're a new enquiry, we'll take it from there.
When do I actually get paid?
Your $250 cash reward / gift voucher is paid once your friend's home loan settles with a lender through AML. There's nothing for you to chase — we'll be in touch when it happens.
How do I know the status of my referral?
Email us at support@amlhomeloans.co.nz with the subject "Status of my Referral", using the same email address you used when you submitted your referral. We'll send you the latest update on your referral within 24 hours.
Is there a limit on how much I can earn?
No cap — refer as many friends as you like and earn a $250 cash reward / gift voucher for every one whose loan settles.
Is this offer available forever?
This referral offer is updated from time to time, and AML Home Loans may change or end it at any time — the reward and terms shown on this page are always the current ones.
Does my friend pay anything for AML's advice?
No. Our mortgage advisory service is completely free for your friend, just like it is for every AML client — no broker fees, no hidden costs.

1. Eligibility
This referral program is open to any current or past client of AML Home Loans ('Referrer') who is 18 years or older and a New Zealand resident. Employees and contractors of AML Home Loans, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
2. The Referred Friend
The person being referred ('Referred Friend') must be a genuine new enquiry who has not previously engaged AML Home Loans about a home loan, refinance, KiwiSaver, or insurance matter. AML Home Loans has sole discretion to determine whether a referral qualifies as new.
3. How It Works
Submit the Referred Friend's details using the referral form on this page. AML Home Loans will contact the Referred Friend directly to discuss their enquiry. The Referrer's involvement in the process ends once the referral is submitted.
4. The Reward
The Referrer will receive the cash reward / gift voucher amount shown on this page at the time the referral was submitted, once the Referred Friend's home loan, refinance, KiwiSaver, or insurance application settles or completes with a lender or provider introduced by AML Home Loans. The reward amount and offer validity date may change at any time — the amount locked in for a referral is the one displayed on this page when the referral form is submitted, not the amount current at the time of payment.
5. Payment of Reward
Rewards are paid by bank transfer or gift voucher (at AML Home Loans' discretion, unless otherwise agreed) to the Referrer's nominated details, typically within 30 days of the Referred Friend's application settling. Referrers are responsible for any tax obligations that may arise from receiving a reward.
6. Multiple Referrals
There is no limit on how many friends a Referrer may refer. A separate reward applies for each Referred Friend whose loan or product settles, at the reward amount that was current when each individual referral was submitted.
7. Ineligible Referrals
AML Home Loans reserves the right to decline or withhold a reward where: the Referred Friend was already an AML Home Loans client or active enquiry prior to the referral; the referral was submitted without the Referred Friend's knowledge or consent; the details provided are false, incomplete, or intended to circumvent these terms (including self-referral); or the Referred Friend's application does not proceed to settlement within 12 months of the referral being submitted.
8. Changes to the Program
AML Home Loans may amend, suspend, or end this referral program — including the reward amount and offer validity date — at any time and without prior notice. The terms and reward amount shown on this page apply to referrals submitted while they are current.
9. Privacy
Personal information collected through the referral form is handled in accordance with AML Home Loans' Privacy Policy. By submitting a referral, the Referrer confirms the Referred Friend is happy to be contacted by AML Home Loans about their enquiry.
10. General
This program does not constitute financial advice and does not affect the Referred Friend's right to choose their own lender or adviser. AML Home Loans' decision on referral eligibility and reward payment is final.
